Is there a required minimum order size?

For all items sold by the yard, the minimum order size is ½ yard.

How do I add fabric to my shopping bag?

All you need to do is enter the number of yards you wish to order, then click "add to cart". After that, you can continue shopping or proceed to checkout. You can view the items in your cart at any time by clicking the shopping cart icon at the page's top right corner.

How can I be sure of an item's color?

We do our best to accurately describe an item’s color in each description, and our photos are checked on color corrected monitors to ensure colors are as close as possible to the fabric in real life. 

Also variations in monitor and mobile color display settings vary widely from device to device, so we can never guarantee that what you’re seeing is absolutely correct. Color may also vary depending on the setting in which the fabric is viewed as a result of different light sources, e.g. daylight, LED, fluorescent, etc. This is why we strongly encourage you to order a swatch before purchasing your fabric or trim.

Also note that Adire and Aso Oke Fabrics are handmade, so if you offer multiples of the same fabric, colors may vary.

What if I need to modify or cancel my order after it has been placed?

Please call our customer service department at 856 433 4833, and we will be more than happy to help you with your order. Customer service hours are Monday through Friday, 9AM-5:30PM Eastern Standard Time.

What should I do if I receive an error message while checking out?

Verify that all of your information has been entered correctly, then make sure that your billing address matches your credit card/ bank information. If you still get an error message, consider calling your bank or credit card company to confirm the billing address they have on file matches the one you have provided to us. If you are still receiving an error message, you can call our customer service department at 856 433 4833 during business hours (M-F 9AM-5:30PM Eastern Standard Time.).

What is Anike & Co.’s return policy?

All Sales are final. So be sure to call if you have any doubts prior to purchase. Our fabrics are handmade so colors may vary slightly. 

Fabrics can NOT be returned or exchanged.

I ordered a fabric and it appears defective or has a flaw in it. What should I do?

Anike & Co. makes every effort to provide its customers with exceptional fabric and other top-quality goods. In the event a fabric or product does arrive damaged or defective, we strongly recommend you contact us as soon as the defect is noticed. After 15 days from your original invoice date, we will no longer consider items for return.

Anike & Co. reserves the right to deny any refunds for fabrics that have been subsequently cut or altered. A 20% restocking fee will apply.

Note: Items MUST be returned in the condition they were shipped; e.g. if the item returned was shipped on a roll, the item must also be returned on a roll. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the returned item and will be processed against the original form of payment. The appropriate account will be credited within two weeks time. Original shipping costs will be refunded on defective items only.

What is Anike & Co.’s exchange policy?

Exchanges are not accepted. We strongly recommend you order a swatch before you place a fabric order.

Also note, generally, wholesale pricing goes into effect at 25+ yards, though some items may have higher order minimums for wholesale pricing. Other terms and conditions may apply.

Do you have a physical storefront?

We are currently a 100% online store but we participate in fabric fairs and other textile/fashion events throughout the year. If you would like to touch and see the fabric in person, do join our mailing list.

Do you have a printed catalog of your fabrics and products?

Since our inventory is constantly changing, printing catalogs is not practical. Our website, however, is always up to date with  new fabrics, so we recommend you check back here often for new arrivals.

Where are your fabrics sourced from?

All over Africa. Our aim is to create, find and provide fabric that is made in African countries.

What is the fabric made out of?

Adire: Sourced from Nigeria and Ghana, this tie dye and batik fabric are created with 100% cotton.

Specifications:

Weight: appx 120 gsm approximately

Yardage: 5 yards (4.5 meters) and are 48inches wide. 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash at 30 degrees Celsius and iron on medium.

Please note that be aware that no two pieces are exactly the same and there may be variations between batches.

 

Aso-oke, sourced from Nigeria, refers to our loom woven strips of thick fabric.

They are usually cotton or silk. 

Specifications:
1 bundle = 14 Meters. Purchase by the meter.

Shipping

What are your shipping costs?

During checkout, simply select your State + Country and shipping costs will be calculated automatically. Please be advised that you are responsible for paying any import duty that might be incurred in your country (if applicable).

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. The cut-off time for expedited shipping is 12:00 pm EST. Any orders placed using express shipping after 12:00 PM EST will ship on the following business day.

We process orders within 72 hours. After being processed, it ships as shown:

USPS Ground arrives in 3-7 business days once shipped

UPS 3 Day Air arrives in 3 business days once shipped

UPS 2nd Day Air arrives in 2 business days once shipped

UPS Next Day Air arrives next business day once shipped

What if my order is damaged in transit?

If a product arrives damaged, contact us. If a product was damaged in transit, we will work with the carrier to try and rectify the problem.

What should I do if my order still hasn't arrived?

Contact customer service. We will work with the carrier to locate your package.

For orders within the United States: In the event that a package is lost, there will be a waiting period of 12-14 business days from the date the package was shipped before a replacement order can be processed. If the order is needed sooner, a new order must be placed; thereafter, the delayed package can be returned for a refund once it is received.

Are there additional charges when shipping Rates for Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories?

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories may incur additional shipping charges.

If your order does not fit into a standard flat rate box, we will contact you to collect the additional shipping fees. These fees will vary depending on the size and weight of the package. Please feel free to contact us ahead of placing your order so that we may assist you with any questions you have.

Does Anike & Co. Ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally via DHL Express. 

To checkout, just add your items to the cart and select your country from the drop-down menu.

Please be advised that due to customs restrictions some items cannot be shipped to certain countries. When this is the case you will see a message reading that “No shipping quotes are available at this time”
